The RADICAL Series replaces K2's Mod series of skate which included a 5-wheel training skate.

Consistent with the world trend at the high end of speed skating, K2 does not have a 5-wheel skate in its 2005 range. K2 designed the Radical 100 for those of you that want to experience the speed and smooth roll of a race skate along with the proven comfort and support of the K2 Softboot. The Radical will feature a low-cut "Marathon" cuff. The newly designed cuff will be lower than those found on typical fitness skates but not as low as those found on racing boots.

This skate has all the features of its Radical 90mm cousin along with a new Four Hundred Longmount frame with 100mm wheels. It's perfect for long training skates and marathons.

The Radical boot is fully heat mould-able, with a base of "White Quartz" carbon composite.
